This effortless, honey-kissed apple puff pastry requires just five simple ingredients — but delivers all the cozy, comforting flavor you crave. It’s perfect for Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, brunch, or any moment you want something warm, sweet, and wonderfully low-effort.
And bonus: your kitchen will smell like pure holiday magic while it bakes.

Make Ahead For:

  • Friendsgiving

  • Thanksgiving

  • Holiday gatherings

  • Weekend brunch

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

  • 2 apples (we love Envy, but any variety works)

  • 4–6 tbsp BeeNZ Kānuka or Mānuka Honey

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.

  2. Slice apples thinly (no need to peel unless you prefer).

  3. Cut puff pastry into 6 evenly sized rectangles.

  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

  5. Spread ½ tbsp Kānuka honey into 6 small areas on the parchment.

  6. Sprinkle each area with cinnamon.

  7. Top with 5 apple slices and a light drizzle of additional honey, if desired.

  8. Place a piece of puff pastry over each apple stack and use a fork to crimp the edges.

  9. Whisk the egg and brush over the pastry for a golden finish.

  10. Sprinkle with cinnamon and an extra touch of honey.

  11. Bake for 12–14 minutes until puffed, golden, and caramelised.

  12. Remove from the oven and enjoy warm.

Serving Notes
